i kind of need a website, not for any serious reason, of course, its just that i have many interests and its a pain to have them be so dispersed; there are systems of organization like notion or obsidian, which ive used for basic note taking, but putting everything there seems like a pain, honestly sounds more complicated than learning how to do a website, the skills are not transferable, they are less customizable and the experience seems more solitary, though lately ive been transitioning to writing txt in the terminal, since i dont think there is a huge difference in using an embedded file manager and simply navigating my own tui. i will treat this as a blog site where i can refine the thoughts i have already written in my diary, as a digital (hopefully printable) catalog for my bookshelf, my small collection of cds and my kpop photocards, and as a place to centralize the media reviews i make, which have mostly stayed in paper only, some are on mal, some are on tiktok. ideally i would also want it to have the gifs i make, but size constraints wont make that possible, i will only render gifs in the highest quality possible (theyre all of kpop girls) and the torrent links ive made of my cds, but i wont entretain the thought that it would be allowed here. even if it was, it would be pretty rude. i will use this as a general template for a future self-hosted website. i dislike uppercase and punctuation, every apostrophe is unintentional and a catastrophe. im not mean, im really not
